Cellacare Genucast is a sleeve-type knee splint for immobilization of the joint in cases of inflammation and knee injuries of various origins. It is also used for postoperative immobilization in a functional, individually adjusted flexed position and can assist with posttraumatic care.This support is a ‘soft’ knee splint which combines the immobilizing effect of a rigid support with the wearing comfort and hygienic benefits of a removable textile orthosis.
The safe way to stabilize
The aluminium stays (flexed at 15°) arranged in pockets provide stability. The stays can be removed from both the side and back sections. The retention straps, which have hook-and-loop fasteners going in opposite directions, are quick to use and easy to handle. The knee support’s lining is made from a skin-friendly cotton material which is padded with open-pored foam.
