Η Εταιρεία LIMASSOL DRUGS CO. LTD ιδρύθηκε απο τους Ανδρέα Λάμπρου (Φαρμακοποιό) και τους γιατρούς Αιμίλιο Φράγκου και Γαστων Σχίζα και αρχισε την λειτουργια της το 1947.
Οι κύριες δραστηριότητες της εταιρείας ήταν και ειναι εισαγωγές/εξαγωγές, χονδρική και λιανική πώληση ιατρικών αναλωσιμων ειδών, ορθοπεδικών υλικών και φαρμάκων για ανθρώπινη και κτηνιατρική χρήση.
Με την πάροδον του χρόνου η εταιρεία εξαγοράστηκεν εξολοκλήρου από τον φαρμακοποιόν Ανδρέα Λάμπρου. Μετά τον θάνατον του, το 1992, η εταιρεία μεταβιβάστηκε στις κληρονόμους του. Το 2002 εξαγοράστηκε από ιδιωτες επενδυτες , εξακολουθόντας να κρατά τον αυτόνομο χαρακτήρα της.
Σήμερα η Εταιρεία, μετά από πέραν των εξήντα χρόνων λειτουργίας , συνεχίζει την ανοδική της πορεία εξυπηρετοντας το Υπουργείο Υγείας, ιδιωτικές κλινικές, χειρουργούς, ορθοπεδικούς, κτηνιάτρους και φαρμακεία σε παγκύπρια κλιμακα, με κεντρικά γραφεία στην Λεμεσό και ιδιόκτητα γραφεία στην Λευκωσία.
